It was very joyful, and it made me smile a lot.

The things I learned from the sessions are things that are neither taught by parents nor by school.

As an active member of WISH, I can confidently say that I believe heavily in the aims of the organisation. It's a great experience being educated by qualified professionals in how to better handle the ins and outs of our everyday struggles and the mental toll it takes on us. Furthermore, this gives us a chance to tackle the stigma surrounding open discussions regarding mental health in our country.

The sessions have taught me that shutting off any part of yourself, negative or not, is not a solution to any problem.

The WISH organization is contributing tremendously to our youth’s mental well-being. As a student who also goes through a series of mental episodes, they have helped a lot to lighten the burden of bottling everything up inside and to bring some of the important topics into light.

South Breeze school partners with WISH for the third annual mental health initiative
This year's event was organised with the goal of destigmatising conversations about mental health and enhancing students' mental health, with a particular emphasis on addressing academic stress and social expectations, which the students often have to deal with.
Led by the students of the school, 'Path to Serenity' aimed to challenge the prevailing stereotypes related to mental health within schools. The event received significant support from founders of the WISH initiative, Farzana Kashfi and Ashna Chowdhury, as well as from facilitators Tamzida Karim and Manal M Khan.
